Speaker Series: An Intergenerational Conversation

Have you ever wondered why older LGBTQ+ people might struggle with pronouns or the progressive flag or why younger people aren’t familiar with the AIDS Quilt or Harvey Milk. Although we are all members of the LGBTQ+ community we often find ourselves struggling to understand “why”. The LGBTQ+ Generational Panel is a forum for members of the LGBTQ+ community to come together to share their experiences and discuss the unique challenges they have faced and continue to face as members of the community. The Panel will be moderated and feature members of different age groups, allowing for conversations between generations to occur. The panel also provides a platform to discuss current issues, such as the rights of LGBTQ+ members, schools and workplaces, and any other topics that may be of interest to the panelists and audience.
