Teen Zone

What is it?

The Teen Zone at the 2023 PrideFest is a designated area specifically tailored to provide activities, resources, and a safe space for teenagers who are attending. The Teen Zone aims to create an inclusive and engaging environment for LGBTQ+ youth to connect, socialize, and access support.

Where is it?

South of E. Locust along 5th Street.

• 12 – 6 PM Metaverse Googles Experience – Meta / Facebook
• 12 – 6 PM “What does Pride Mean to Me” and Social Media Lounge – Elipsis
• 12 – 6 PM Selfie Station & Pit Crew Challenge – DMACC
  • Selfie Station – take your best selfies and text them to your besties 
  • Pit Crew Challenge – Clock the fastest time to win the challenge
• 12 – 6 PM Job Corps
  • Come play some bags or other outdoor games
• 12 – 6 PM Des Moines Library
