Volunteer Your Time
This is one of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. This is an easy and efficient way of contributing to the great work we do at Capital City Pride and we have opportunities for people of various abilities.
From helping with community improvement activities to setting up for events, we have wide-range of activities that you can get involved in. On average more than 80 volunteers donate 600 hours of their time to help make Capital City Pride’s events a success.
We specifically have year-round needs but the majority of that is for PrideFest in June. Over the last five years, PrideFest grew from 17 volunteers in 2017 to over 400 in 2022. There is plenty to do so we would love for you come join our team!

If you are unable to donate your time, talent and energy, please consider making donation today. The only way Capital City Pride makes year-round programming, events and PrideFest happen is through the donation of time of volunteers and money.
