Des Moines, IA, September 15, 2020 – Capital City Pride (CCP), an Iowa LGBTQ+ non-profit dedicated to producing events that educate, commemorate and celebrate Iowa’s diverse community, is pleased to announce a charitable contribution in the amount of $10,000 fromnnKum & Go. This gift will ensure that LGBTQ+ communities are represented, heard, and supported today, and every day.

The result was an extremely successful virtual Pride Month in June that saw 100,000 online impressions and nearly 30,000 in audience engagement. The overwhelming success of the first ever-online festival has the organization rethinking and reimagining how to evolve moving forward. Early partners like Kum & Go afford CCP the opportunity to begin that process and commitment to our community with several virtual events already in the works for thennremainder of 2020 leading into 2021.
